Me

I was born in San Jose, California and have remained in the Bay Area for most of my life. I started university at the University of California Santa Cruz in Film & Digital Media and travelled over the next four years to London, Paris and finally graduated and settled (for a while) in San Francisco. I graduated with a BA in Graphic Design from the University of San Francisco and have come to focus my work in design, production and publication. After working for a few years in magazine and newspaper publishing in SF, I hopped back across the pond to London in 2014 to obtain my Masters in Publishing.

I focused my studies in typography, publication and the impact that solid grid system and formatted text can have on a page. I have produced and designed for magazines, books, professional journals, web+digital and promotional publications. I completed my MA Publishing with Honors from University of the Arts London: London College of Communication in autumn 2014.

I am currently working as an Editorial Designer on the App Store Today Tab at Apple.

My work

My work represents my life. I am constantly influenced by colors, shapes and typography around me. From old signs to architecture to graffiti, my surroundings inspire my art and I believe that for design to be truly provocative it must draw from the ordinary and make it exceptional.
